What's in a Name: Abydos is the ancient necropolis in Egypt that was the sacred burial place of the first pharaohs of a unified Egypt. Also has relevance to the sci-fi series, Stargate SG-1 and the anime series, Yu-Gi-Oh! Two of my favorite series.
