My model horse stable that prides itself on its Arabians and Thoroughbreds. Others reside here as well. Feel free to have a look around. Don't worry, the stallions here are friendly. They just like to show off a little...okay, a lot. 

UPDATES/NEWS

APRIL 3, 2009: Wow, haven't updated here in a while. Anyway, here's one. With the start of a new show season, Akela Farm has a couple of new acquisitions. I have welcomed "Tektite" back now painted and with a new name to go with it. He's now called "Bakari" and is a yummy bay. Also welcomed a drastic custom Lonesome Glory who's a filly now with Huck Bey mane/tail. She's called "Fly By Wire." Bid farewell to "Zephyr's Gold Rush" (Ginger Horse SR QH) who headed off to his new home.

I also have a Mini Gypsy Scarlett II drafter artist resin (non-windswept mane/tail version) on order (she sold out on first day offered!) and will receive her unpainted sometime in the future. Not sure what colors she's gonna be or who's going to paint her yet, but I've got some time to ponder that one. I'm trying to reduce my Traditional scale herd (yeah right...that's not working out very well...LOL!) and increase my mini scales (Little Bits/Stablemates) herd mostly in AR's.

Will be making some changes to the 'look' of this site off and on this year. May even change the entire layout. Not sure yet. You'll see little changes here and there as I find time to pick at a few changes in spots (new title banner is up on this page!)

JANUARY 30, 2009: Welcomed "Wing Commander" (Peter Stone OF EFC SR Arabian 'Blue Angel') to the stables. What an interesting fellow he is...my first OF EFC ever!
